Following a series of successful short films and local bay area gigs, in 2014 Bryan snagged the lead role in a short film called His Keeper, which won the Remmy Award for best dramatic short film at World Fest International in Houston, TX. The role he's most known for is Logan in the award winning film Krisha, directed by Trey Edward Shults. Krisha took home the Grand Jury Award for best narrative, as well as an audience award and best ensemble cast at SXSW in Austin, TX in 2015. Following a big win at SXSW, Krisha was selected to play during critics week at Cannes Film Festival. Bryan is focusing primarily on dramatic acting and hopes to lead in a crime-drama film one day. 

 

       Bryan Casserly was born in Houston Texas on August 24th 1987 to Pete and Renee Casserly. He got his first taste of acting at the age of 8 when his mother signed him up to be an extra on the made for television movie, A Woman of Independent Means, starring Sally Fields and Ron Silver. In his younger years Bryan was heavily involved in sports, excelling in soccer and basketball. After graduating from Klein High School in 2006, he worked a series of odd jobs not yet knowing what his passion was. In 2012 he moved to Sacramento where his parents had moved to a few years before. Upon reading a book, The Technique of Acting by Stella Adler, he made the decision to move to San Francisco to study acting at the Academy of Art.
